"TROUBLE" SAYS "BE TOUGH" ... BECAUSE  WHERE THERE'S "TROUBLE" ... THERE'S HOPE!!!

Here's Kendra and our very first "TROUBLE" dog

"Here's TROUBLE"!

"Here's Trouble!"  In January, 2006, after some tough times of her own, then twelve year old Kendra Duncan of Marblehead, Massachusetts, decided that kids (and adults too) could use some help during difficult times ... maybe they were ill, or had lost a loved one ... or were simply feeling a little bit afraid.  They needed a great big hug ... and more!

She sat down and drew a very simple little pup, and named him "Trouble"!  She then worked with her aunt, Sheila, to design a cuddly plush toy as well as a children's book which tells Trouble's story of rescue and hope...and how to "be tough" when times are hard.

Trouble has a mission ... to make people feel better ... and he does!  We don't know why ... it's magical ... he just does!

"TROUBLE " AND A VERY HAPPY NEW FRIEND FROM LOS ANGELES

"WHEN TROUBLE COMES ... YOU'RE NEVER ALONE!"

To date, Trouble is in the hands of over 3500 children in locations as far away as Iraq and Mali, Africa.  In addition, Trouble has donated over $16,000 to charities working with children and animals in need such as St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network, CancerCare, the SPCA of TN, NEADS (Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans) the Northeast Animal Shelter and the Mosby Foundation to name just a few.

Preliminary "word of mouth" testing has overwhelmingly shown that "TROUBLE" does elicit hope and joy in children and adults.  As a result, there is now a survey underway to capture the "magic" of "TROUBLE".

A warm thank you to CancerCare for Kids ... they are true supporters of the mission of "Trouble" and have been of great assistance in our "Trouble" survey!
They see the "magic" of "Trouble" first hand.

Special thanks to Steve Webster of Impact Design in Marblehead for putting this wonderful video together.

A recent testimonial ... "My four year old grandson received Trouble the dog as a gift.  He naturally was too young to understand the concept, but kept Trouble by his side at all times ... no one else could hold or sleep with Trouble.
A few months later, his young cousin arrived for the weekend.  She had just lost her dad to cancer; when she arrived at the door, my grandson met her and put Trouble in her arms ... it was just an incredible moment ..."       SCC, Peabody, MA.
