KENDRA AND THE VERY FIRST TROUBLE DOG!

Trouble Says..Be Tough!

"HERE'S TROUBLE"

"Here's Trouble!"  In January, 2006, after some tough times of her own, then twelve year old Kendra Duncan of Marblehead, Massachusetts, decided that kids (and adults too) needed a little help during difficult times ... maybe they were ill, or had lost a loved one ... or were simply feeling a little bit afraid.  They needed a hug.

She sat down and drew a very simple little pup, and named him "Trouble"!  She then worked with her aunt, Sheila, to design a cuddly plush toy as well as a children's book which tells Trouble's story of rescue and hope...and how to "be tough" when times are hard.

Trouble has a mission ... to make people feel better ... and he does!  We don't know why ... he just does!

KIDS HELPING KIDS!!!!!

Special thanks to Steve Webster of Impact Design in Marblehead for putting this wonderful video together.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Trouble Revolution .   It's all about "paying it forward".  Trouble's mission is to help children and animals in need.  Our initial event will be featuring St. Jude Children's Hospital.  For each Trouble purchased, we will be donating back 20% to St. Jude. You may also purchase a Trouble book or plush dog to be delivered directly to a child at St. Jude in Tennessee.
This Trouble Revolution was inspired by the number of people who would come up to Kendra and I at book signings and ask that we give a Trouble to a child who needed him.

Our good friend and Trouble supporter, Ann Leary, is coming out with a great new book - "Out-Takes From a Marriage" - on June 3rd.  Please check out her website and read her blog ... it's hilarious!  www.annleary.com

As you will see, Ann has been kind enough to link her site to Trouble ... it's all about "paying it forward" ... so be sure and  tell all your friends.

Ann and her family are also animal lovers and have a rescue dog from the South named Lulu.

MEET LINCOLN, A NEW ENGLAND ASSISTANCE DOG IN TRAINING AND A 'TROUBLE' SUPPORTER

A very recent testimonial:

"You sense that TROUBLE has a certain special something when you first look upon his adorable face.  I took him home and placed him on my bed, where he has been a constant companion to nuzzle with when we are feeling troubled or in a playful mood.  Sometimes, all we have to do is look at him and we feel better.  I was never one who enjoyed plush animals, but I have discovered that TROUBLE is no ordinary plush dog.  He has personality and spirit".  L&S, Nahant, MA.
